AleKtron Biography
Alessandro Tomei, (aka AleKtron), is a musican from Latina.
After studying Grandpiano and drums,
he wanted to express himself by using a more complete instrument in order to compose at the same time sound and rithms.
So, he decided to switch to computer programming and start
a new musical project as composer/dubmaster with the "MiCasbah" band
(electronic rock with social oriented lyrics).
After that he started a soloist experiment called AleKtron.
Alessandro is a MIDI Programmer certificated by Saint Louis Music College of Rome, where he improved his recording techniques, mixing, programming and mastering of audio tracks.
Since 2005 he has published many autoproduced albums like "Why?" and "Love is a Bubble", two concept albums, with electronic-ambient atmosphere and melancholic mood.
On 22nd of September 2006 AleKtron was reviewed by the Metro newspaper in Prague. His song "Carillon for your daughter" went on the air in "Demo", a Rai Radio 1's weekly program.
Now he plays with the ShirleySaid band as dubmaster/sound engineer and sets up sound designes for happenings and all kind of artistic events.
